May 15th 2023

The LMRA - "Lyon Mountain Road Association" has issued the second annual newsletter. The link is in the Notice section of the site. We would like to prepare additional Newsletters to keep the Owners informed and will work to bring them to you as more owners participate with their feedback. As we stated prviously, we are trying to inspire interest in Lyon Mountain.  The newsletter was sent through regular mail to owners without a contact email on file. Please use the contact link to update your information and submit questions. 

September 12th, 2023

LMRA - has issued the first Memorandum to Land Owners. In the memo we discuss the repair progress we have made this year. We also briefly mention the financial status of the road association, which is basicly now broke, to remind the owners that contributions to the fund are drastically needed at this time.  Please see the Notices link for your copy that will explain the different ways for you to contribute. 

Repairs

June 15 2023

Inspection

Inspections of road will be ongoing.  Vinny and Will are going to evaluate necessary repairs for 2023.

June 30th 2023

Clearing

Will Joosse began road work, hedge trimming in various locations along the road. Specificly focusing on the end of Lyon Mountain Road where the road loops around to the other side of the farm. 

September 8th, 2023

Road Repairs

Will Joosse spread and graded 10 loads of stone throughout the road.  He filled water damaged areas and pot holes.  He also began to cut in runoff areas to control water flow. He will be aware of areas that are in need of attention and provide reports to Vinnie.

Fire Works

July 4th, 2023

We anticipate that Vinnie and friends will again perform there magic and hold their annual fire works show up at the picnic table. 

Hunting

Regular season big game opens

NYS hunting regulations and information provided by DEC. (Link).  Please be mindful of hunters on the mountain.  Please take extra care and be aware for your own safety.
